What are the home design trends for 2025?
💪 Flexible Spaces
As the lines between work and home life continue to fade, creating spaces that can change from professional to personal easily will be worth considering. Open-Plan Living could be fading out and we may welcome back ‘broken plan’ living with different zones being popular making spaces cosier and more private. Rooms won't have just one function anymore and will be made into multi-purpose spaces. Eg. Lounge Room/Office or Guest Room/Gym. These spaces will be subdivided by semi-permanent structures such as moving shelving, sliding glass doors, partition walls, etc.

🌱 Outdoors Indoors
Biophilic design will be included in our homes such as living walls, indoor water features, indoor gardens, native Australian plants featured in interiors and green/living roofs! A green/ living roof is a roof surface planted with vegetation. Green roofs consist of a series of layers including waterproofing, drainage, filter fabric, growing medium and vegetation.
